About Jesse Soita

Jesse Soita is a Legal Associate at the firm. He is an advocate of the High Court of Uganda and a Commissioner for Oaths. 

Jesse is an accomplished litigator who has practised his craft in all the Ugandan Courts of Judicature and is one of the firm’s reliable point man for litigation. His areas of trial interest are Commercial law, Criminal defence law, land law including real estate and land conveyances/transactions, negligence and personal injury law, fatal accident compensation claims, insurance, human rights enforcement, constitutional law, international law/international criminal justice, Oil, Gas and Petroleum law, energy law, mineral law, electoral law and Statutory Appeals Tribunals.

He is equally an able commercial conciliator and negotiator who has successfully fostered conciliation in a number of cases in the Commercial Division of the High Court, Land Division of the High Court and other Courts in Uganda and has successfully negotiated numerous transactions. His negotiation skills have enabled him to negotiate favorable out-of-court settlement terms for clients.

Jesse is a member of the Uganda Law Society and East Africa Law Society. He is also a Lecturer of Law at Kampala International University (Main Campus). He holds a Master of Laws (LLM), a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Law Development Centre and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Kampala International University.
