About Nyachieo N. Mary Maganda

Mary is a practising Advocate of the High Court of Uganda. She has solid experience in civil and criminal litigation before both the High Court and Court of Appeal. She also practices commercial law before various tribunals including the Electricity Disputes Tribunal and the Industrial Court. 

She has a wealth of experience in transactional advisories on areas of commercial agreements, legal compliance, corporate commercial transactions, domestic relations, immigration law, as well as conveyancing transactions. She has dealt with a number of transfers, leases, sub-leases, charges and mortgages, among others over the years.

Away from her career as a lawyer, Mary is a seasoned Law Lecturer with over 10 years’ experience acquired from working in different academic capacities in various institutions.

Mary holds a Masters of Law (LL.M-General) with commercial orientation, a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Center and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Kampala International University
