Sam Gimanga
Sam is a Partner at the firm. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Makerere University and a post graduate Diploma in legal practice from the Law Development Center at Kampala. He is licensed to practice law in all Courts of Judicature in Uganda; and is a member of the East Africa Law Society and the Uganda Law Society. .
He specialises in civil and commercial litigation with an emphasis in property law, energy law and employment disputes. .
Sam has worked on a number of assignments including high level litigation matters for Energy companies and telecom companies, he has also done work structuring a number of hydro and solar power projects.

Advised, as local counsel, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in the Kampala solid waste management PPP. .
Advised Total E&P and several hydro and solar power projects ensuring adherence to the law
with regard to land acquisition and the legal regime with regard to electricity among others.
Litigated on several land mark matters for the largest energy retail provider in Uganda.
